About the Journal

 

Biomedical and Biotechnology Research Journal (BBRJ), a publication of Society of Biomedical & Biotechnology Scientists (https://www.sbbs-soc.com), is a peer-reviewed online journal with print on demand compilation of issues published. The BBRJ aims to publish current research related to biological and medical studies of biotechnology. It aims to promote communication among clinical researchers, physicians and biologist that works in areas related to Biotechnology, worldwide. Digital Archiving

Wolters Kluwer Medknow provides for long-term digital preservation through two primary partnerships, Portico and CLOCKSS.

Portico is a leading digital preservation service worldwide. The content is preserved as an archival version and is not publically accessible via Portico, but is provided when required under specific conditions, such as discontinuation of the collection or catastrophic failure of the website.

CLOCKSS will enable any library to maintain their own archive of content from Wolters Kluwer Medknow and other publishers, with minimal technical effort and using cheaply available hardware.

Ahead of Print policy

Articles published online under the Ahead of Print model are considered published and can be cited and quoted using the DOI as the reference source. Wolters Kluwer Medknow has a policy that changes will not be made after publication of an article without following accepted procedures for making corrections to the scientific record.

Advertisements

While advertisements are crucial to this journal to be able to keep all content free for everyone, ethical considerations are in place to ensure the integrity of the journal and its content:

  • “Pop-up” and “banner” ads appear on a random, rotating basis. The advertiser has no control or input over the pages where their ads appear.
  • The Editorial Board has full and final approval over the content of all advertisements.
  • Advertisers will never be shown any manuscripts or other content prior to publication.

Established by Society of Biomedical and Biotechnology Scientists in 2006.The Society of Biomedical and Biotechnology Scientists (SBBS) is non-profit federation of international Biomedical and Biotechnology Associations, witch consist of learned Societies, universities, scientific institutes, biotech Companies and individual bio technologists whom are working to promote biomedical and biotechnology throughout the world with special references to Asian –countries. The mission of SBBS is to promote the safe, sustainable and beneficial use of the life sciences, to promote research and innovation of biomedical & biotechnology, to provide a forum for interdisciplinary and international cooperation, to improve scientific education and to facilitate an informed dialogue between scientists and the public.

The SBBS Central Office (SBBS-Co) is located in Mycobacteriology Research Center, National Research Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (NRITLD), Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran.

The journal will cover technical and clinical studies related to health, ethical and social issues in field of Nucleic Acids/Molecular Biology, Physiology/Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering/Bioprocess Engineering, Computational Chemistry and Molecular Drug Design, Genomics and molecular Bioinformatics, Biomarkers studies, Basics studies on tissue modeling, Proteomics. Articles with clinical interest and implications will be given preference.
