The mission of SBBS is to promote the safe, sustainable and beneficial use of the life sciences, to promote research and innovation of biomedical & biotechnology, to provide a forum for interdisciplinary and international cooperation, to improve scientific education and to facilitate an informed dialogue between scientists and the public by:
• Facilitating exchange of ideas and information through scientific meetings and publications
• Developing a superior work force
• Informing and encouraging diverse academic expertise for biomedical and biotechnology impacted healthcare
• Providing a welcoming environment for world class research, scientific and technologist

• Secure funding for researcher(s) in the development new diagnostic kits and procedures

• Advice, collaborate and participate with governmental and non-governmental agencies in matters of common interest
